WWE Money In The Bank 2019 Predictions

It’s Money In The Bank tonight and I’ll be watching the PPV with Simon and staying all up night. I don’t do too well without sleep but I have plenty of coffee and snacks to get me through it.

Below are my predications for most the matches that have been announced.

Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles

WWE Raw, Universal Champion Seth Rollins is scheduled to defend his championship against the phenomenal AJ Styles. This match should most definitely get the main event spot and have the benefit of having 20-minutes or more given to it to really get going. Even though both of these superstars are talented, I feel like Seth Rollins will come out on top this time.

Predication: Seth Rollins to win.

Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens

Again and again, Kevin Owens has proven himself to be one of the most untrustworthy Superstars of the WWE. Watching him play the good guy act before quickly flipping back to the bad guy we all know. That’s what makes him so endearing. Kofi Kingston certainly has a tough task ahead of him.

Predication: Kevin Owens to win.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair

This match already bores me. It’s Lynch’s rival, Charlotte Flair that defeated Bayley to compete again Becky herself. I would have much preferred to see Becky vs Bayley but that’s not the match we will be seeing so I’m not going to say much more about this one.

Predication: Becky Lynch to win.

Roman Reigns vs. Elias

Roman Reigns is Vince McMahon’s current favourite, so he’s going to do everything in his power to make sure he’s presented as the number one face in the company. While I appreciate Elias, he is a little bit of a gimmick. He is loved by fan’s as he is entertaining but against Roman Reigns, he doesn’t stand too much of a chance.

Predication: Roman Reigns to win.

The Miz vs. Shane McMahon

The Miz vs. Shane McMahon are at it again. I didn’t expect much from them at Wrestlemania 35 but I was intrigued by their performance. It turned out to be way better than expected. I doubt this steel cage match will be different from any other. People will get slammed into the sides of the cage and Shane McMahon will probably get a little carried away and The Miz will nab a win.

Predication: The Miz to win.

Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans

Becky ‘Two Belts’ Lynch certainly has her work cut out for her. At this year’s Money in the Bank, she has to defend both her titles against WWE’s superstars. One of those women is Lacey Evans. Her whole walk-down-the-ranp-then-leave stuff got pretty annoying and boring, so I’m happy to see her finally get into some action. Although Lacey is a pretty strong contender, it would be pretty dumb of WWE to make Becky lose her ‘two belt’ status so soon after Wrestlemania.

Predication:  Becky Lynch to win.

Ember Moon vs. Mandy Rose vs. Dana Brooke vs. Nikki Cross vs. Bayley vs. Natalya vs. Naomi vs. Carmella

Honestly, I’m not fussed with this match. Bayley’s getting boring, Mandy Rose is still unpolished and uninteresting, and Carmella already had her run as the very first women’s MITB holder. Now that leaves Natalya, Naomi, Dana Brooke, Nikki Cross and Ember Moon. As for Natalya, Dana Brooke, and Naomi, they’re non-factors who’re pretty low on the current women’s roster totem pole. Now that leaves Nikki Cross and Ember Moon. With a move to SmackDown, it looks as if Ember Moon is getting set up to be one of the their hottest superstars. A win could get her a long way!

Predication: Ember Moon to win.

Andrade vs. Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Ali vs. Randy Orton

So the men’s MITB 2019 lineup has been set. This year’s group of ladder match participants includes three former MITB briefcase holders and a few fresh faces. Just by taking a quick look at the contenders, I can tell you that Randy Orton won’t win. He has had his time in the spotlight already. I hoping that Baron Corbin will also lose as he frustrates me so I’m not even going to consider him winning. Sami Zayn is used as a bit of a joke and not taken too seriously unless he is being punched in the face. That is why Zayn won’t win either. Ricochet was one of my faves for a short amount of time until I realised that he is literally just all flips. He is still a newcomer so I doubt that they would christen him “Mr. Money in the Bank” so soon.I don’t think it’s Ali’s time to shine yet either even though I feel he would do well with a win. Finn Bálor, Andrade, and Drew McIntyre are my top three picks for the ultimate victor of this group. Balor and McIntyre will do well even without the win. That is why I’m hoping for a Andrade win.

Predication: Andrade to win.

Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio

After Rey Mysterio’s embarrassing match at Wrestlemania 35, I’m sure Rey’s going into this match with a stronger battle plan. And I’m also pretty sure that he’s taking on Joe in a much healthier state. Both men are now part of the RAW roster, and I have a feeling that even though Rey Mysterio will be better this time around, he won’t be good enough.

Predication: Samoa Joe to win.

Daniel Bryan & Eric Rowan vs. The Usos

I’m not a big fan on The Usos. I just find them a little annoying. Maybe that’s why I’m hoping for a Bryan & Rowan win. I did think that Daniel Bryan made an interesting champ though and since losing to Kofi Kingston, I’m hope that he can pick up another titles instead. When The Usos moved to RAW, I was pretty excited to see what they got up to but that excitement quickly turned into disappointment when Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso turned super annoying during the The Revival storyline.

Predication: Daniel Bryan and Eric to win.

In conclusion, this is going to be a very fun event and I’m super excited for it to start.

By the way, don’t Becky and Seth make the cutest couple?!
