In my endeavour to be organised each day, week, month and year, I have been writing up plans for each month.

I had drafted Aprils’s plans and goals but I didn’t share them because I was apprehensive of whether or not I would actually complete them. I am the queen of making plans and giving up on them only a few hours later.

Even though I didn’t share my April plans with you all, I did decide to keep them all on a little note on my laptop, just to test myself.

In the end, I had managed to complete a couple of them including Instagram growth and drinking water.

This month, I am throwing caution to the wind and I am sharing my plans with you all. I don’t want to be held back by the fear of not being good enough anymore.

So, here’s my plans for March…

YouTube Growth

In April, I managed to actually upload some videos on my YouTube channel. I decided in the end that no matter what kind of content I was in the mood to make, I would make that. For too long, I have felt pressured to create a certain type of content in the hopes that I just don’t feel inspired about. From now on, if I want to talk about something then that’s what I will talk about no matter how ‘on/off brand’ it is.

Anyway, my plan for May is to focus more on growth this month. I want to see what my stats are showing and I want to put more effort into the videos that I am making. Good things are coming to my channel so make sure that you are subscribed!

Show My Creative Side

I am not exceptionally talented when it comes to creative things. I’m not good at painting, photography, writing or drawing but those do happen to be some of my favourite things to do.

Hopefully, I will be able to build up enough confidence in my artistic abilities that I will eventually share some of my art on this blog.

Read A Book

I can’t remember if I have talked about this on here yet but when it comes to reading, I have been slacking. I haven’t read a book for over a year and that’s pretty shameful for me. I used to read a book a week so I have no idea what happened.

I probably own about 500 books but I just don’t have the energy to read any of them. This May, I am hoping that I can at least read one book. I don’t even mind how short it is, I just want to be in the mood to read again.

Be More Consistent

Whether it’s online or in real life, I feel like this is my biggest struggle. I make plans and I start strong but I can’t keep up with them.

In my online life, I am so inconsistent with most of my platforms, including this blog. I will go a month or two where I post once or twice a week and then I’ll suddenly drop off and now post again for a month. I do this with Instagram too. I’m annoying myself with it.

In my real life, I do this with most things including exercise, keeping my home tidy, and even keeping in contact with people. It’s not good for me or for other people.

What is something that you’re hoping to do in May? Do you have any goals or are you winging it?

Great goal setting Eleanor. I hope you achieve them all. I am pretty much the same, creating more content. Wanting to be more consistent and I am for a few days and then stop, then come back about a month later.

If you’re gonna read any book this May, please read Flat Share by Beth O’Leary? Such a wonderful book. I’m sending you so much love. Stay strong, stay home, stay safe. ๐Ÿ’œ

Good luck on your goals! I’m mostly winging it but my major goals include sending off a very important application and reading a bunch of classics. I’m planning to start with Emma by Jane Austen and then go from there.
