Summer has been a pretty odd experience this year so I’m glad that it’s finally coming to an end. Although, I would say that about summer any year because I just really don’t like the heat too much.
I’ve always been a bigger fan of the colder weather so naturally I prefer Autumn and Winter over Summer. Autumn has just always warmed my heart. It makes me think of fresh starts and beautiful aesthetics.

Whenever it starts to feel a little bit cooler, I start to look forward to movie nights under a blanket with a hot chocolate and marshmallows.
But anyway, since Autumn is here and has been for about a week now, I figured I would share my 2020 Autumn bucket list with you all…
Bake some Autumnal treats
I love to bake but I’m usually pretty terrible at it. That will never stop me though. Whenever I usually bake, I just make chocolate chip cookies, and don’t get me wrong, they are lovely but I definitely want to change it up for Autumn. I will probably stuff make cookies but I might add some Autumn flavours such as cinnamon and pumpkin spice. As well as cookies, I am hoping to make some pumpkin bread, ghost shaped brownies, pumpkin mini pies, cinnamon buns and sweet potato pie.
Carve pumpkins
With Halloween on the way, it’s the perfect time to carve pumpkins. Every year for the past five years, my friend, Simon and I have carved pumpkins together. We always try to make it into a competition to see who can make the best pumpkin carving but Simon is so bad at it that I always ended up winning anyway. No matter how terrible Simon is at pumpkin carving, I still fully plan on carving pumpkins again this year. This year I’m going to make it even more fancy and I already have my carving plan. So keep an eye out over on my Twitter because I’ll probably post my design there.
Drink a pumpkin spice latte
Starbucks have brought out their pumpkin spice lattes again and I seriously can’t wait to go and drink one. I actually never used to like them and I just had no interest in coffee in general, but I retried one a couple of years ago and now I just can’t get enough. I know it’s a very typical thing to enjoy in the Autumn season and it’s super unoriginal but I honestly don’t care, just give me my pumpkin spice latte!
Wear all of the knitted jumpers and cardigans
I absolutely love the look of knitted jumpers and cardigans. I see people wearing them all the time online and they all look so cute. I’ve always loved wearing oversized jumpers in the autumn but since seeing some extra cute ones online, I know exactly what I wish to wear this season.
Watch some scary movies
I am actually quite a big fan of horror films, I just don’t watch them. I am pretty much scared of everything so whenever there’s a jump scare or just something scary in general, I jump and hide under a blanket. I usually have to watch a horror film with someone else because it’s definitely less scary that way, but this year I’m going to try to watch them alone. Wish me luck!
Overall, I’m so happy that it’s Autumn and I’m fully ready to embrace the season. What are you excited for this Autumn? Do you have any super exciting Autumn plans?
