While I’ve been away from my blog for a little bit, one of the things I spent more time doing was journaling. More specifically, digitally journaling.
Journaling has been such a relaxing way for me to create without putting too much pressure on myself. I’ve found it almost therapeutic to sit with my iPad and apple pencil and create scrapbook-style journal pages.
I thought it would be a nice idea to share some of my journal pages here to help you get ideas for your own journal.
Here are some of my digital journal pages:
Do you keep a journal, whether it’s digital or physical?
If you’re anything like me, then you buy notebooks a lot quicker than you use them. And I don’t blame you! There’s some absolutely lovely notebooks out there so how can anyone resist buying them?!
Since you’ve probably got at least one spare notebook if you’e reading this, then I figured that I would share some ways to fill them.
I consider myself to be a part-time bullet journal user. Back in 2016, I was a hardcore bullet journal enthusiast. Now that it’s 2020, my life is getting busier and I don’t have time to make every page look beautiful and Instagram-worthy. The main thing that stopped me from using my bullet journal was that I’m not super artistic. My drawings and doodles tend to be a little bit all over the place which made me worried that I wasn’t ‘good enough’ to be part of the BuJo Community.
Anyway, now I have started to realise that each journal owner is unique. We don’t have to do things that way that all these professional planners do it. So, my mission from now on is to start using my bullet journal the way that I want to.
Back when I used to write on my old blog, I would write this style of post all the time. I think it’s fun to set goals and sharing them with other’s is an extra boost to actually accomplish them.
April is a great month because it’s Simon’s birthday so we will be celebrating by spending the day in Liverpool, doing some shopping and eating ALL THE FOOD!
Get Back Into Using My BuJo
I love journalling. I haven’t actually touched my bullet journal for a while though as my depression has sort of taken over and I don’t have the motivation to do much. This is something that I want to change though. I want to push myself to get more creative again.
Sort Out All My Plushies
If you didn’t already know, Simon and I collect plushies. We have around 500 in total (possibly more) and it’s getting to the point that they are taking over. We have some on the sofa, some on the bed and some in storage. I want to get them under control and find then all a nice home.
Prewrite Some Blog Posts
At the moment, all my posts are being written and posted on the same day. I need to get back into the blogging game and actually have some post for when I’m not around or if I’m in a slump.
Spend Some Quality Time With Simon
As I mentioned, it’s Simon’s birthday in April. I want to make it special for him so we are getting a cake, heading shopping and he will probably buy another build-a-bear while we are in Liverpool. We are also going out for a meal together so that should be lovely!
What are your goals for the month of April?
