Some Of My Weird Dreams That I Felt Like Sharing For No Real Reason

I have weird dreams. A lot of weird dreams. In fact, I can’t even think of the last time that one of my dreams wasn’t weird.

I love the idea of keeping a dream journal but I’m so lazy. So, I decided to share a couple of my weird dreams here on my blog instead.

Trying The Modern Milkman Service ♡ Is It Worth It?

I came home from town one day to see that The Modern Milkman had posted a flyer through the door about their service. I usually ignore that kind of stuff but I was intrigued so I looked up their website.

They seemed to have all the daily essentials that anyone can need. And it was all plastic free!

Since it seemed so great, I couldn’t help but place an order.

I placed my order on Wednesday and requested for my first delivery to be on the Friday.

Lovely Things To Include More Of In Your Life

There’s often a lot of joy to be found in the smallest and simples parts of everyday. Sometimes it can be hard to see the happy parts of daily living because we are all so busy just trying to get through the day. Life can feel repetitive and rubbish, but if you really think about it, you might be able to find some beauty in parts of your day that you wouldn’t usually think about.

Since finding the beauty in everyday life can be harder for some people, I decided to post a list of a few little ideas to help inspire you..

One Month Of Learning To Crochet

How have I already been learning to crochet for one month?! I feel like only a few days ago I decided to head out to buy some yarn and crochet hooks.

But anyway, it’s been a month and it’s definitely been an interesting and fun month.

I’ve learned quite a bit during my month of crocheting, but I feel like I still didn’t get much made.

Animal Crossing X Build-A-Bear Collection ♡ My Predictions and Hopes

If you have read any post on this blog before, then you probably know that I absolutely love Animal Crossing. You probably also know that I love plushies. Add those two things together and you’ve just made my dreams come true.

So of course, when Build-A-Bear announced that they had an Animal Crossing colab coming, I couldn’t contain my excitement.

I thought it would be a pretty fun idea to talk about what I predict we will get from the range and what my hopes are.

I’m Learning To Crochet

For most of my life, I’ve know people who can crochet. Whether it was a family member, a friend or someone who I chatted to online, I feel like I knew a lot of talented people. I found myself owning quite a few crocheted pieces that I was gifted from people and I loved all of them. I love the idea that someone put all that time and effort into making a blanket, gloves, scarf or whatever else, just for me. It warms my heart that someone would put effort and time into something for little old me.

Since I love the look of crochet, I wanted to try it out for myself. I’ve tried a few time in the past but I was never able to stick it out.

I recently tweeted out that I wanted to be able to crochet and people’s responses were so lovely that I decided to give it another go for myself.

So, I set off on a mission to start learning how to crochet..

Spring 2021 Home Decor Finds On Amazon

One thing I love is searching through Amazon for beautiful home decor pieces. Since Spring is coming up, I decided to have a little look at some of the Spring items that I could find. There was so much cute stuff that I decided to share some bits and bobs with you.

This Spring for me is all about those green colours and cottagecore aesthetic. So, if that’s your kind of thing then you might enjoy these home pieces too.

3 Pieces Artificial Hydrangea Bouquet // Wicker Willow Cookery/Shopping Basket // Rabbit & Cabbage Rectangular Tin // Brentfords Teddy Fleece Throw // Beeswax Food Wraps // Mushroom Ring Dish // Botanical Duvet Cover Set // Fabric Bunting Banner // Easter Eggs Bunny Decoration // Peter Rabbit Cutlery Set

I feel like these pieces are so perfect for any cottagecore themed Spring or even just any Spring time in general. But honestly, I would keep these things in my home all year around.

What kind of decor do you have in your home? Do you like the look of cottagecore and Spring decor?

Films I’ve Watched Recently ♡ The Eighth Edition

Oh my, it really has been a long time since I posted the seventh edition of this post. I feel like I said that about the sixth edition too though.

However, this time I have a reason (or an excuse, you can decide). I have been rewatching all the Marvel films. I decided to write about those in a separate post though. So yeah, since watching the Marvel films, I’ve not had much time for other films which is why it’s taken me so long to watch enough films for another one of these posts.

But anyway, let’s rate films!

As always, some of these films are re-watches and some of these films are first time watches.

Now, here are my rating of my most recently watched films.

Book Review: Roots by Tara O’Connor

‘Wrapped in real family history and set amongst the natural beauty of the Irish countryside, Roots is a classic romantic-comedy adventure and a page-turning account of a young woman finding herself. On a journey to the old world ― she discovered a whole new world. After a messy year of heartbreak and setbacks, Tara sets off to Ireland in search of clues to her family’s ancestry, but what she found wasn’t at all what she expected. Some of it has to do with the lack of records, but a lot has to do with John, the charming cartoonist she met on Twitter.’

I stumbled upon this book when scrolling through Prime Reads on Amazon. Graphic novels are one of my favourite things to read and this one seemed pretty simple and cute so I decided to give it a go.
